The 'Casino' name predates the existing Casino Theatre building and business, and goes back to a landmark dance hall built on the same spot in 1922. Several years later the building was transformed into a movie house, with seats placed on the flat dance floor and the screen on the stage. Ticketmaster
Ticketmaster is the authorised ticket seller for the Sydney Lyric. Please be aware that the Sydney Lyric has no obligation to honour tickets purchased via unauthorised re-sellers, as these may be invalid tickets. If you attend with a ticket purchased via an unauthorised re-seller such as Viagogo, eBay, Gumtree or otherwise, you may be refused entry. Mobile Tickets
Mobile Delivery ticketing is like Print-at-Home tickets but instead of having to print off the tickets yourself, you can just show the ticket barcode on your mobile phone. If you have a mobile ticket, make sure you have your ticket ready on your phone, with the QR bar code clearly visible for scanning at the auditorium doors. To access your mobile ticket, log into your Ticketmaster account from your phone. Please make sure your phone is fully charged and have screen brightness set to full so your ticket can be scanned. If you are unable to do that, don’t worry, we can try scan them from your phone, and if that doesn’t work, our Box Office will be able to re-print them for you. Do not try to print your mobile tickets as these will not be accepted for entry.
