'It is a key three hours,' said Wojtaszek. 'We're probably losing about 15% of our business, could be as high as 20% of our business as we are fairly busy between the hours of 10 and 1.'

To help offset the loss of those important evening hours, the facility will now open at 7 a.m. instead of 8 a.m. Like bars, restaurants, and gyms, casinos have had to adjust quickly to the change.

'We got notice the night before that the bars and restaurants would have to close at 10, so we adjusted to that very quickly.' said Wojtaszek 'And then rapid-fire the next morning we were notified that the entire casino had to close at 10.'
Del Lago Resort & Casino is in the same boat, saying in a statement to News10NBC:
“In response to the recent requirements from New York State, Del Lago Resort & Casino will be closing daily at 10 p.m. beginning Friday, Nov. 13. Our new hours of operation will be 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day.”

Wojtaszek is hopeful that this is only temporary. 'We hope that this is short-term.' he said 'We're told that it's probably going to be at least 30 days, but as long as we can remain open, as long as we have our people working, and our guests can come and enjoy themselves, it's worked pretty well.'
